Sustainable practices has become a popular phrase today, and with good reason. We all have a vested interest in the land we live on, the air we breath, and the water we drink. And while more companies are practicing sustainability these days, Idahoan® Foods has been doing it for more than 50 years.
For us at Idahoan, sustainability is more than just being a good corporate citizen: It reaches deep within our core values. The Idaho® potatoes we use are all about rich volcanic soil, cool crisp nights, and pure water. So it's fundamental to us that we do our part to preserve the natural resources around us. The water used at the plant to wash and clean the potatoes is screened for peels and dirt and then sent directly to the farm for water the crops on Idahoan's farm.
